Luxury 350 m2 Villa Overlooking Lourdas Bay Next To The Monastery Of Sissia, Pool And Secluded Beach Ultimate Privacy, Private Path To Secluded Beach, 5 Minute Drive To Lourdas Sleeps 8/10 (4/5 Bedrooms)


Designed by C. Osborne, Villa Lefka has a main living area with all modern accessories that is surrounded and linked by 3 separate properties that constitute self contained bedrooms that each have a study, bathroom and kitchen facility. With 5 bedrooms, Villa Lefka will comfortably sleep 8 to 10 and is ideal for wedding parties or large groups. The villa is not available for rental on an individual property unit basis. Located on a prime spot of land, 18,000 m2 in size, the visitors to Villa Lefka are guaranteed privacy together with access to a beach that others can only reach by boat. There is a 12m x 6m infinity swimming pool with sun lounges and parasols surrounded by well-maintained gardens and olive groves. A large outside dining area with barbecue and bar is also exclusive to all guests. A large freezer is by the pool. The villa is over 300sq.m and all accommodation is spacious and lavishly decorated. Where required, there are also staff quarters for 2 people.  


Notes on prices Rates are for a maximum of 10 guests. A non refundable 30% deposit will be required to secure a booking with the balance being paid 8 weeks prior to the arrival date. A welcome pack is included in the above cost and air-conditioning. A €1000 security deposit must be paid that is fully refundable within 2 weeks of departure date subject to no damage or loss arising to the property.



Changeover day The changeover day is flexible. The villa must be vacated by 10am on departure day and can not be occupied before 2pm on arrival day unless otherwise agreed by management.

Kitchen:



Three fitted kitchens with large ovens, fridge freezers, dish washers, all crockery and cooking utensils, coffee makers. The fitted kitchen in the central residence also has an adjoining dining area that will comfortably seat 10 people.



Utility Room:



There is a maid service from Monday to Friday inclusive. A washing machine, iron and board is available.



Living Rooms:



The central unit and main living room area consists of a large TV, DVD Player, Stereo, fully stocked book shelves and an adjoining dining room area. The property is lavishly furnished and large glass doors lead to a private patio area.



Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:



Towels and linen are included.

There is a daily maid service from Monday to Friday.

There are staff quarters available should guests wish to bring their own staff.

Notes on accommodation



The central unit and main living room consists of a large TV, DVD Player, Stereo and fully stocked book shelves. There is a fitted kitchen with stylish indoor dining facilities for 8 to 10 people. This building has a separate double bedroom en suite, a guest bathroom and a study area.



Building 2 - Ideal as a honeymoon suite, this property unit consists of a large single room, with double bed and bath tub. It has comfortable seating and a telescope. Some steps lead up to this room.



Building 3 - Has a twin bedroom and sliding doors leading to a symmetrical twin bedroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with seating and a bathroom with shower. Building 4 - Has a twin bedroom and sliding doors leading to a study. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with comfortable seating and a bathroom with shower. All buildings have air conditioning, glass doors leading to a private patio, excellent sea views, internet access and private car parking spaces.


 Accessibility



Except for one room accessed by stairs, the rest of the villa is on ground floor level and is therefore reasonably accessible to the less mobile.


Outside



There is a 12m x 6m infinity swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols surrounded by well maintained gardens and olive groves.

A large outside dining area with barbecue and bar is exclusive to all guests.

A large freezer is by the pool. Uniquely situated, completely secluded, yet close to villages and tavernas.



The blue flag beaches of Lourdas, Trapazaki and Skala are between a 5 and 20 minute drive away. Villa Lefka is situated on a cliff edge overlooking the sea, a monastery to the west and Mount Ainos forms a dramatic backdrop.



The views from everywhere are breathtaking and not another house to be seen. Goat tracks from the property wind down to a secluded sandy beach of outstanding beauty.



The ruins of the 17th century Monastery of Sissia are only a 5 minute walk from the property and make a wonderful and romantic evening walk. Children will love the exotic animals (Llamas, deer, Himalayan goats etc.) and birds kept on the Monastery grounds.


Coast/Beach



There is a path and goat trail that lead to a secluded sandy beach that is only 300 meters from Villa Lefka. Other people can only gain access to this beach by boat. The popular tourist resort and blue flag beach of Lourdas is a 5 minute drive. Being located on the center of the southern coast of Kefalonia there is easy access to a number of beaches such as Trapazaki, Koroni, Mounda Bay and Skala and all of there many facilities.


How to get there



Because Villa Lefka is secluded, car hire is essential. Kefalonia airport is 17km away and the ferry ports of Sami, Poros, Fiscardo and Argostoli are all within an hour drive.


Distances



The nearest villages to Villa Lefka are Simotata, Lourdas, Trapazaki, Vlachata and Platies. The historically famous Monastery of the Virgin Mary at Sissia is only a 5 minute walk away.


Further details



The nearest village is Simotata that is located on the southern coast. Villa Lefka has spectacular views across the Ionian Sea to Zakynthos and has Mount Ainos as a backdrop. Mount Ainos is one of the ten National Parks in Greece.



The blue flag beaches of Lourdas and Trapazaki, many restaurants, tavernas and shops are all within a 5 minute drive. As per Trip Advisor, the top two restaurants in Kefalonia are located in Lourdas, namely the Olive Lounge and the Andromeda Restaurants.



Being located in the centre of the southern coast, Villa Lefka is also ideal for easy access to such activities as diving, surfing, walking trails, fishing, ten-pin bowling and horse riding.



Our capital, Argostoli, is only 25 minutes away and guarantees an evening of entertainment and local hospitality. There is a mini market 3km from the villa and 3 supermarkets 10km away.



The nearest banks are located in our capital Argostoli. The location provides a perfect surrounding for a relaxing holiday and yet the option for many recreational activities.
